When we thought that freedom wars would be trapped in the old PSVitaBandai Namco surprises us through their social networks with the announcement that freedom Wars will have a future remastering for current generation consoles and PS4. So this iconic game will no longer be trapped in the already abandoned and much loved PSVita, the surprising thing about the announcement is that this time consoles outside Sony will be able to enjoy this title: PC and Nintendo Switch, this remastering promises a very good improvement in the visuals, both in textures and visual effects in general.
Freedom Wars is released from the Psvita
As can be expected from a remaster, this one will have several improvements, in addition to the visuals, it is expected that the control will be adapted to modern times. One of the sections that may interest fans of this title is the renewed weapon upgrade system that promises to be a little more complex than the original, thus having the possibility of greater replayability in the future. The most curious thing about this remastering is that it will be available for the PS4, which tells us that even video game studios are not going to let go of this console.
For lovers of difficulty are in good time, as freedom Wars remaster will include new settings for players to find a way to adapt to different styles of play: if your thing is the cooperative mode is freedom Wars remaster will include a mode in which you can play with up to 7 friends missions which ensures several hours of fun. And as expected, this time the game thanks to the power of current consoles and PS4 promises a fixed 60 FPS and 4K but only on PS5 and PC.
Freedom Wars remaster promises to return in a big way, and gives us hope that more games that are still stuck on PSVITA will return in this way so that new players who in their time did not have that console can now enjoy these titles. And is that although the Vita was abandoned by the Japanese company very quickly, this had great games that by the few sales of this console very few people could try these titles that squeezed the PSVITA to the maximum.
But to draw a final conclusion we will have to wait until January 10, 2025, so for Freedom Wars fans there is still a couple of months to wait to dive back into the title. In Freedom Wars players find themselves in a dystopian future where humanity now lives in Panopticons, which are self-sufficient prison cities where every citizen is born with a million-year sentence for simply existing.
In the title players assume the role of a “sinner” who must carry out dangerous missions to reduce our sentence and recover our precious freedom, but this will not be an easy task, as we must face various types of enemies with their respective peculiarities: from humanoids to large monsters which will not make life easy in Freedom Wars.
