Final Fantasy stands out largely for the large number and quality of video games that has been released over the years, but also players found in the characters released with each new installment to their favorites in this saga, being that also many “waifus” have been introduced, which artists use for the creation of all kinds of content, such as illustrations or cosplays, and to illustrate this first point we have this new series of works that have as protagonist the beautiful Aerith Gainsborough, recreated this time in a realistic way to get a little closer to our world.

The new illustrations were shared by a user of the social network Instagram, which feature one of the most popular girls in the Final Fantasy franchise, the beautiful Aerith Gainsborough, which will not surprise fans by recreating this beauty commented, but the different works show us how it would look like if it were part of our world, since the realistic style was used in these images.
In order to make Aerith look as faithful as possible to how she is known in the Final Fantasy saga, she is wearing the same outfit she uses in one of the most emblematic of all, Final Fantasy: VII, which consists of a pink buttoned dress, an elegant red leather jacket and thick brown boots, where we can appreciate the great care to detail that have the different illustrations, as the accessories that make up her outfit, such as the gold bracelets on one of her wrists or the pendant on her neck are recreated.
Although undoubtedly what makes these works stand out from others, as we mentioned at the beginning, is the realistic aspect that was sought to give to the Final Fantasy “waifu”, being that aspects such as physical features, but especially the facial ones, were transformed to show her as she would look like if she existed in our world, being that one of the most characteristic aspects of her, such as her beauty, is maintained even in this type of style, so fans can be more than satisfied with these works of the Final Fantasy character.
The “waifus” of the Final Fantasy franchise have become over time some of the most recognized in the world of video games, such is the case of girls such as Tifa Lockhart or Aerith Gainsborough herself, who are usually some of the girls selected by the community of artists when creating content, being that in recent years the figure of both have been increased thanks to the release of the Final Fantasy Remake: VII and if we take into account that in this 2024 the sequel to that title will be released, their popularity will only continue to grow.
During the past year 2023, Final Fantasy released the title Final Fantasy: XVI, which is not only the most recent game of the saga until the release of the sequel we mentioned, but it has become one of the best releases in a year, which was loaded with many excellent titles, even considered the best game of the year for some players, and although it failed to enter the list of nominees for this title in the “Game Awards”, just as having been so close to entering shows that it is a great game.
