In 2003, sculptor Ken Kawanishi, also known as Grimrock!, designed and produced incredible figures of Asuka Langley and Rei Ayanami, two characters from Neon Genesis Evangelion for the Wonder Festival. The design of this new scale representation of Asuka was done by Ken Kawanishi (Gurimurok!) and Mojarin, the illustration of the package by Mojarin and the production manager of the prototype is Ryuntaro. The trim color is white and a version is available for those who prefer to paint it completely. A decal template of the eyes is also included, so you can place them in any way you like. This figure is designed to be relatively easy to assemble, even for beginners.
In said item, we can see a more “uncovered” version of Asuka’s classic Evangelion costume, as it is only a leotard with elbow-length gloves, short boots and thigh-high stockings. Everything is in red with black details, which is maintained from her animated version, as well as red hair styled in two half pigtails. One element that is different in this prototype is that she has a red tail coming out of the back of her leotard.
