Neon Genesis Evangelion: Asuka inspires a stunning PC Gamer

One of the most fascinating things about Neon Genesis Evangelion is that it became a huge cultural phenomenon in Japan, inspiring countless products even after more than 27 years since the original series ended. We all remember the majestic, but terrifying Evangelion and their pilots wearing the iconic Plug Suits.

Now you can embody Asuka Langley and her Unit EVA-02 with the new products that ASUS just announced for their new line “Republic of Gamers”. This PC hardware is inspired by the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise, but it has a red color theme that specifically references Asuka. Let’s take a look at the whole collection!

Build your own Neon Genesis Evangelion-themed Gamer PC

The collaboration between ROG & Neon Genesis Evangelion features a very extensive collection of products to build your own PC Gamer with the theme of the classic anime. First we have the ROG Thor 1000w power supply and the ROG Scabbard II mouse pad, both with the logo of the NERV organization.

Then we can see one of the most interesting pieces of the collection: The Strix Scope keyboard, whose keys are painted in a red color that alludes to Asuka Langley, and we can even notice an image of the character in question on the space bar. Similar to this, the Harpe Ace mouse grip has a similar red design and includes a silhouette of the Unit EVA-02 on one side.

But the internal components of the PC also have designs of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Asuka. Like the Herculx, the easy-to-install graphics card with an image of Asuka that changes colors, or the Ryujin III 360 CPU cooler with red, black, and orange RGB fans. We can also notice the Maximus Z790 Hero motherboard, which not only has another illustration of the character, but also has a curious design inspired by the A.T. shields that the Evangelion can deploy in the series. To store all this, we have an amazing Hyperion computer case completely inspired by the Unit EVA-02.

The Asuka Langley collection from ASUS looks truly incredible. In a world where we can’t have our own Evangelion mecha (For now) with this hardware we can build a PC gamer that will make us feel like we have our own Unit EVA-02. Of course, this is not the first time that ASUS collaborates with Neon Genesis Evangelion, as last year they launched a line of products with the theme of the classic Unit EVA-01 of Shinji.
