As some of you may know, last February 27th was the birthday of the talented voice actress “Rie Takahashi“, a seiyuu who is known in the otaku community for playing some characters such as Ai Hoshino in Oshi no Ko, Sumi Sakurasawa in Rent-a-Girlfriend (Kanojo, Okarishimasu), Megumin in Konosuba!, Emilia in Re: Zero, Shino Kiryuu in Girlfriend, Girlfriend (Kanojo mo Kanojo), among others.
Having Sumi Sakurasawa and Ai Hoshino as one of her most recognized voices in the anime industry, the person in charge of character design for the anime Oshi no Ko and Rent-a-Girlfriend, Kanna Hirayama, has dedicated a publication to the beloved voice actress Rie Takahashi and wished her a happy birthday with a fantastic illustration of Ai and Sumi.

This incredible and unexpected crossover between the two franchises has left the otaku community in awe, who have gathered in this post featured on Kanna Hirayama‘s official Twitter account to wish Rie Takahashi a happy birthday.
However, that’s not the only surprise that character designer Kanna Hirayama had in store, as she has also presented to the public a charming illustration where, true to her drawing style, she makes an animated version of the talented voice actress Rie Takahashi.
The popular voice actress Rie Takahashi was born on February 27, 1994 and began her career in the anime industry in 2013, participating in anime such as “Seiyuu Sentai Voicetrom 7“, “Yowamushi Pedal“, “Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso“, among other series, taking minor roles. However, in 2015 she would take greater relevance by participating in the anime “Konosuba!“, playing one of the most beloved characters in the anime industry: Megumin, the Archimaga of the Magic Clan of The Crimson Demons.
Since then, the voice actress “Rie Takahashi” would begin to take more important roles in the anime industry, getting to play characters such as Emilia from Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Takagi-san in Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san, Sumi Sakurasawa in Kanojo, Okarishimasu, Shino Kiryuu in Kanojo mo Kanojo, Ai Hoshino in Oshi no Ko, Kaoru Kamiya in Rurouni Kenshin (2023), Ena Saitou in Yuru Camp, among other characters.
