This news was confirmed by the respective official media of the series, which have presented an exciting visual image for the new installment of the anime and celebrate in this way with fans of the franchise.

It is worth noting that for the moment the official media of the anime produced by the animation studio “Trigger” has not released much information to the public about this new installment of Dungeon Meshi. Let’s remember that the anime adaptation of the manga “Dungeon Meshi” began its broadcast on television in Japan in the winter season of this year, last January 4, and is composed of a total of 24 episodes. As mentioned above, the animation studio Trigger was in charge of its production and it is available legally through the Netflix platform, which is making an English dubbing for the series.

Dungeon Meshi presents the adventures of Laios Touden, a brave knight who leads a small group through a seemingly endless dungeon. This subway labyrinth is filled with dangerous monsters and deadly traps. Thanks to advanced magic, it is possible to resurrect fallen explorers, allowing them to learn from their mistakes and return to the dungeon. However, when a powerful dragon devours Falin, Laios’ sorceress sister, she uses her magic to send her brother and his companions back to the beginning, saving them from a fatal fate.
Despite being short of money and equipment, Laios decides to venture back into the dungeon to rescue Falin before the dragon digests her completely. Although some of his allies abandon him, two remain by his side: Marcille Donato, an elven mage, and Chilchuck Tims, a halfling locksmith. However, the group faces the desperate possibility of starving to death before completing their mission. It is at this point that they encounter Senshi, a dwarven warrior with a passion for cooking who teaches them how to safely cook and eat the monsters they defeat.
Thanks to Senshi’s culinary skills, Laios and his companions fight their way through the dungeon while discovering the gourmet cuisine of the monsters and learning more about themselves and their friendship along the way.
