Dragon Age

Dragon Age: The Veilguard tops 3 monthly video games for March on PlayStation Plus

Dragon Age is a cult RPG and one of the best titles released by Bioware and Electronic Arts almost 15 years ago. As a trilogy with Origins in 2009, Dragon Age II in 2011 and culminating the main story with Inquisition in 2014, the franchise earned a well-deserved Game of the Year award with its third installment being very close in the first because it revolutionized the genre in addition to accumulating a large fan base. For 2024, the developers decided to release “The Veilguard” a story that would retake the story and that had divided opinions and now this same one will arrive to the PS Plus service of PlayStation as “Monthly Game” heading the list of March.

PlayStation shines with AAA Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Released in a turbulent October 2024 in conjunction with other titles such as: Metaphor: ReFantazio, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO and Silent Hill 2, Dragon Age: The Veilguard did not go unnoticed, especially by its eagerly awaited fan base and by the specialized critics. Although it did not have the success expected by Bioware, it did leave a mark and divided opinions, in addition to the fact that they took full advantage of the hardware of both the Xbox X Series X|S and the PlayStation 5 to do a great job at a graphical level.

This new Dragon Age title had the same tone of its predecessors, but taking it to a higher level, however, character customization did not meet user expectations. Dragon Age: The Veilguard has an impressive gameplay and integrates new mechanics for the characters. Each one, depending on their category, will have different abilities and these compensate the game in every way. The cinematics are admirable, since Bioware and Electronic Arts took full advantage of the graphics engines within the consoles and in general it is a title worth reviewing and evaluating on its own.

Sonic and TMNT are also coming this March to PlayStation Plus

The good news for PS Plus users does not end here, it was also confirmed that Sony will add TMTN The Cowabunga Collection and Sonic Colours Ultimate to the month’s catalog. In Colours Ultimate we take the reins of the official mascot of Sega this time located in an interstellar amusement park built by the evil Dr. Eggman, its operation depends on an alien race called “Wisps”. Use Sonic’s main ability to free these space creatures as you explore 6 different worlds full of challenges. The game is optimized for both PS4 and PS5.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is an impressive compilation of 13 classic Ninja Turtles titles released in the 1990s. The video game was originally released by Konami just a couple of years ago and you will spend dozens of hours of fun with titles such as: Turtles in Time, The Manhattan Project, Hyperstone Heist, Radical Rescue and Tournament Fighters. This title includes new features such as online play. All titles will be available starting March 3.
