The Top of March releases comes too soon after a fleeting February that brought incredible titles and at least one of them should be considered among the conversations for the “Game of the Year 2025”. The month of “Love and Friendship” had significant releases, but only 3 stay on the podium: Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Monster Hunter Wilds and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. And this month is just as big and shows as main cards Assasins’s Creed: Shadows, Atelier Yumia and inZOI. But that’s not all and here we leave a top for you to discover the best available in March 2025.
Top 5. inZOI
inZOI is not just any videogame, it is the life simulator that comes to make a direct competition to the one who has had the monopoly of these simulators for a little more than 2 decades: The Sims. The dynamics remains the same, but this time we will be in charge of characters called “Zois”. Customization will be more varied and, best of all, the non-playable characters or NPC’s will have a much higher intelligence than that of the “Sims”. The video game was developed by inZOI Studios and KRAFTON (PUBG, Callisto Protocol, Hi Fi Rush), being multiplatform and an augmented reality title. It is scheduled for release on March 28.
Top 4. Split Fiction
From the same creator of “It Takes Two” (Game of the Year in 2021) comes Split Fiction, an EA Original that will follow the same online and offline multiplayer mechanics just like A Way Out released in 2018. Split Fiction narrates a comedy where Mio and Zoe, fiction and fantasy writers, are transferred to their own stories after being connected to a machine that will steal creative ideas. Both will have to cooperate to get out of their own worlds with their ideas intact. In this new adventure the protagonists will have new abilities and unprecedented allies. Split Fiction will be released on March 6.
Top 3. Assassin’s Creed: Shadows
The release of Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is getting closer and closer. The new Ubisoft title takes advantage of the Unreal Engine 5, as well as a different story, as it follows two plots: that of a Shinobi (Naoe) and the first foreign Samurai in history (Yasuke) in a Feudal Japan, sharing the same destinies in an unexpected way. In a world full of temples, castles and ports, the main focus will be on exploration and evolution as characters as we get to know their pasts, allies and the future that awaits both Naoe and Yasuke. Shadows will be released on March 20 on all next-gen platforms.
Top 2. The First Berserker: Khazan
This title has not received enough publicity to be in such a high place, but without making much noise, The First Berserker: Khazan has a place of respect among Soulslike lovers or, at least, lovers of great challenges. Developed by Nexon (Counter Strike and Blue Archive) and Neople, this new title will give us as the protagonist of the story to Great General Khazan who was once a hero recognized for killing a “Berserk Dragon”. Unjustly accused of treason, he was exiled to a snowy forest where he plans his ruthless revenge. The challenging 3D-style RPG will be released on March 27.
Top 1. Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land
Atelier Yumia is not in the first place for free or just for having one of the most beautiful waifus of video games of 2025. The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is here for being the most ambitious videogame of the entire franchise which has more than 20 titles to its credit, surpassing by everything shown in its previews the Ryza trilogy that got an anime adaptation just a couple of years ago. This title, which will be released in the third week of March, will be the first to hit the Xbox ecosystem, launching for the Xbox One and X|S Series platforms, though it will also come out on the PlayStation and Switch.
Returning a bit to Xbox, the creative mind behind the game revealed that Flammi a character very close to our protagonist, was inspired by Cortana from the Halo franchise. This new installment will integrate the mechanics of construction based on the materials collected, so creativity will be key, a motorcycle ride mechanics to move faster and will have a staff of luxury seiyuus, as it has as main to:

The game will continue with the tone of a JRPG and, if as a gamer you have never tried this genre, this is the time to do it. The release is scheduled for March 21 on all platforms and will show us a Yumia Liessfeldt who lost her mother, who was a pioneer of alchemy in a context where it was considered a taboo. Yumia will try to find answers and improve her techniques while acquiring new friends along the way in a story of magic, action and adventure where the player will be able to identify with past successes and failures that are the main motivation for projects towards the future.
