Today, Bandai Namco has released the announcement trailer for “Death Note Killer Within” a new multiplayer online strategy game based on the franchise of the same name. In the video of about 2:30 minutes we are shown a bit of the plot that we can be part of with our friends in this new adventure.
Players will have the opportunity to take the place of either Kira, “the god of the new world” or “L” in a new confrontation between the two, with which we will join up to 10 players, who will have to compete in 2 sides to defeat their rival, either “hunt” Kira again and end with his plans or thwart the attempts of “L” to stop him.
An interesting feature is that during the gameplay we can use the iconic “Death Note” as a resource to achieve our goal, but as a disadvantage as shown in the video, this will give the opposing side a chance to catch us.
Thanks to this mechanic of being able to use the characteristic notebook is where the game takes its name, which has been baptized as “social deduction”, because any player can make use of it and we must under certain actions to find out who it is in order to neutralize it. So all our ingenuity and attention will be put to the test.
