The third chapter of Deadpool Samurai has become a trend in the last hours, as it launched a cover with a witty and funny parody of the popular series Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba). The fact has surprised manga fans, and is that in this installment of the hero we are presented with a clear reference to the cover of the first volume of the popular work of Koyoharu Gotouge. Being so peculiar, the fact had many reactions from fans of both series, who saw this as something comical and very characteristic of Deadpool himself.
The third chapter of Deadpool Samurai parodies the cover of the first volume of Kimetsu no Yaiba.
Manga fans are impressed and delighted by this publication of Deadpool Samurai, more precisely of chapter 3, and is that the manga that has been published in Japan for some time now sought to pay tribute, or rather parody, the cover of one of the most successful manga, Kimetsu no Yaiba. The creators did not hesitate to recreate the same scene from the first volume of the popular work on the cover of the third chapter of the Deadpool saga for Japan.
In this you can see how two versions of Deadpool are recreating the pose and composition of the cover of the first volume of Kimetsu no Yaiba: one of the Deadpool, with a scar similar to that of Tanjiro Kamado, is holding a katana, while he is hugging the other Deadpool, which is shown with the demonic aspect, identical to how Nezuko was presented to us in the first volume. Even the type of hair is something that stands out in this cover.
Many fans celebrated how one of the most recognized heroes for his humor has been adapted to please an audience such as anime lovers, in this case having as a protagonist a work as important as Kimetsu no Yaiba. Moreover, this is not the first time Deadpool does something like this, as in the past he also parodied Chainsaw Man, using in this case his own version of Kon.
Deadpool Samurai is a manga created by Sanshiro Kasama and Hikaru Uesugi, who have been in charge of bringing this Marvel character to the new Japanese setting. The series began publication in 2020, as part of a collaboration between Marvel Comics and Shonen Jump+, the series is framed in an effort to merge the universe of the antihero Deadpool with the aesthetics and narratives typical of manga, resulting in an entertaining reading experience for fans of both genres.
