With its most recent season on air, the anime Date a Live is giving much to talk about, especially for the latest episode that was released a few hours ago, which presents what would be the death of a character, in this case Kaguya, which appears to have been eliminated unexpectedly by an attack in the thorax. But it was this scene that generated a stir among the anime community, and many noticed how it changed a very interesting aspect with respect to the original novel, since in the beginning Kaguya should not have blood in the part where she received the attack.
“No… maybe it wouldn’t be appropriate to describe it as a penetrating stab. In fact there were no drops of blood dripping from her thorax”, with this phrase found in the original novel of Date a Live, fans discovered the big difference between this and what was seen in the anime. In the last chapter we can see how Kaguya is not only receiving the same attack that would have ended her life, but a lot of red liquid is expelled from that area, showing the remarkable change that occurred between the two media.
As fans were the ones who first noticed this difference, many comments were given on social networks, where it was mentioned how this, although it could pass as unnoticed, may be the confirmation that Kaguya would have perished, since in the novel it had not been made clear. Meanwhile, others took it as a joke, especially as Geek Toys, the animation studio behind the Date a Live anime, literally did not take the original story into account at all and changed this detail, for many, to draw much more attention from fans.
