A new official trailer for the second season of the anime DAN DA DAN (Dandadan) has been shared with the public. Through the series’ official media, a new promotional video for the long-awaited second season of DAN DA DAN was presented, which not only offers a new glimpse of this upcoming installment, but also reveals its opening theme song.
The opening theme song of the second season will be performed by “Aina The End” and will be titled “Kakumei Douchuu” (On the Way).
Let’s remember that the second season of the anime DAN DA DAN (Dandadan) will premiere in Japan on July 3 of this year. In addition, the new installment of the series will be broadcast legally in Latin America through Crunchyroll and Netflix platforms.
However, starting May 30, screenings of DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye will be held in different parts of the world. This special edition will include the first three episodes of the second season of the series. In Latin America, screenings of DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye will begin on June 5 of this year.
The anime’s production team is as follows: Fuuga Yamashiro headed the direction of the anime, while the production responsibility lies with the animation studio Science SARU. Hiroshi Seko plays a role as supervisor and writer of the anime’s scripts. Naoyuki Onda is dedicated to character design, while Yoshimichi Kameda brings his talents to the design of aliens and supernatural entities in the animation. The anime’s soundtrack is composed by Kensuke Ushio.

Information about DAN DA DAN (Dandadan):
DAN DA DAN (Dandadan) is a manga that is written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu and began publication in Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump+” service on April 6, 2021. Currently, Shueisha Publishing has collected the manga into 19 volumes in total.
Thanks to the good reception of the public, in the month of November 2023, the publisher Shueisha confirmed that the manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, would have its respective anime adaptation.
DAN DA DAN premiered on October 4, 2024 and consisted of a total of 12 episodes. The animation studio Science Saru was in charge of its production, and the series was legally streamed through Netflix and Crunchyroll platforms. The series has two Latin Spanish dubs: one for Netflix and one for Crunchyroll.
DAN DA DAN (Dandadan) has the following description:
Momo Ayase, a popular high school student, makes nice with Ken Takakura, her socially awkward classmate, by standing up to her bullies. Ken misunderstands her intentions, believing he has made a new friend who shares his obsession with aliens and UFOs.
However, Momo’s eccentric occult beliefs fall into the realm of the supernatural; she believes that aliens do not exist. Rivalry soon ensues, as each is determined to prove the other wrong.
Despite their initial clash over their opposing beliefs, Momo and Ken strike up an unexpected but intimate friendship, a bond forged in a series of supernatural battles and strange encounters with urban legends and paranormal entities. As they both develop unique superhuman abilities, they learn to make up for each other’s weaknesses, leading them to wonder if their newfound partnership may be about more than survival.
