Considering this relevance, fans of the DAN DA DAN franchise have already started to do their job of taking the franchise “further” and thanks to a publication that was made on the social network X, the idea of what an H parody of the anime would be like was raised, which would have the character Momo Ayase as the main character, something that caught the public’s attention.
It is worth noting that this curious idea was presented by たいやきの息子 (@sp_taiyaki0521), a user of the X platform. In his post, he points out that, should the filming of a n0por parody of the DAN DA DAN franchise take place, the scene where Momo Ayase is surrounded by Rokuro, a recreation of one of the scenes seen in the first episode of the anime series.

As we mentioned above, this post caught people’s attention and unexpectedly went viral on the social network X, having more than 3.5 million views and 59 thousand reactions. Moreover, some comments agreed with the idea presented in the post and many are already waiting for the confirmation of an H parody of DAN DA DAN.
It is not a surprise that seasonal anime that have a huge relevance have this kind of parodies. In the past, we have seen how Bocchi the Rock! also received such adaptations amidst growing popularity, so we will keep an eye out for what might be unveiled in the future regarding the DAN DA DAN franchise.

The manga DAN DA DAN is written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu and began publication in Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump+” service on April 6, 2021. In November 2023, Shueisha Publishing confirmed that Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga Dandadan will have an anime adaptation.
The respective anime adaptation of the manga DAN DA DAN made its premiere on October 4 this year globally through the Netflix platform and has an English dub. The animation studio Science Saru is in charge of its production and the series will have a total of 12 episodes. The series is streaming legally on the Netflix platform, although it has also reached the Crunchyroll platform.
The anime DAN DA DAN has the following description: The story follows Momo Ayase, a young woman who, after an aggressive rejection, becomes involved in a chance encounter with a bullied boy. This mysterious young man, passionate about the occult, tries to find common ground with Momo, who, in turn, professes a belief in ghosts.
What begins as a dispute over the real and the imaginary becomes a wager that leads both protagonists to separately explore places associated with both the occult and the supernatural. The surprise comes when they discover that both dimensions coexist, triggering a series of surreal events.
