The work began publication at the Gagaga Bunko imprint of Shogakukan Publishing House in June 2019. Currently, Hiromu and raemz’s light novel is still in serialization and Shogakukan will release the ninth volume for sale on August 20, after 1 year since the release of its eighth volume.

Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka has the following synopsis: Insults against Saku Chitose are commonplace. Nicknamed “Class 5’s womanizing scum,” he is constantly slandered on the Internet by those who are jealous of his popularity. Fortunately, this has little effect on Saku’s confidence and outside of the Internet forums, he is respected and admired by his peers and a model student trusted by his teachers.
At the beginning of his second year of high school, Saku reconnects with his old friends and befriends new ones, all of whom belong to the school’s social elite. However, the fun is cut short when Saku’s teacher orders her to convince her classmate, Kenta Yamazaki, to return to class. Eager to put an end to the situation quickly, Saku visits Kenta’s house the next day.
But the task turns out to be more difficult than he expected when he discovers that Kenta has jumped on the bandwagon of hatred for Saku. If she wants to keep her impeccable image, Saku must find a way to win Kenta over and bring him back to school.
