Magia Record, an RPG game with a very active community, is based on one of the most popular anime series: Madoka Magica. Fans of the show would love to be part of a game set in the same universe, and the developer is constantly adding content to make the game more enjoyable. That’s why they are now collaborating with another renowned anime, Lycoris Recoil, and bringing in the two most popular girls from it, Chisato and Takina, for the delight of the anime and Magia Record players.
Magia Record collaborates with Lycoris Recoil adding Chisato and Takina
The game, inspired by the Madoka Magica universe and also known as MagiReco, announced that it will collaborate with Lycoris Recoil, one of the most popular animes in recent times, and add the two most popular girls from it, the beautiful and cheerful Chisato, and the serious, but equally gorgeous Takina, who will become magical girls so that players can play with them.
In Magia Record, both girls wear clothes very similar to those seen in Lycoris Recoil, but stylized to give them a more “magical” look. Chisato wears a dress in white and red colors, while Takina, according to her colder personality, one in black and blue colors, with only a front garment in white. In addition, they will carry weapons similar to those they had in their anime, Chisato with a set of dual pistols, and Takina with a much larger and more powerful rifle for battle.
However, not everything is good news, and some fans will have more trouble playing with the girls, since Magia Record is only available in Japanese. It used to have a global version, but unfortunately it closed its servers a while ago. Those who can still play, at least in its Japanese version, will be able to get the girls from Lycoris Recoil in their promotional banners starting on September 22, when they are enabled.
Lycoris Recoil is an anime that premiered in 2022 and gained great popularity thanks to its captivating story: A Japan where there is a secret organization dedicated to protecting against any case that may disrupt the peace of the territory, being this a team of girls agents called “Lycoris”.
The series begins when Takina fails a mission, and is thus demoted from her position and sent to work with Chisato Nishikigi, the strongest “Lycoris” of all in the “LycoReco”, a cafeteria where they will have to attend the most trivial requests of their customers, while continuing to work on some cases for the main organization, looking for Takina to return to her previous position, in a story full of action and emotion.
On the other hand, Magia Record is an RPG game that was launched in 2017 in Japan for iOS and Android mobile devices, having a North American version that debuted in 2019 and closed its servers a year later in 2020. The game is a spin-off of the anime Madoka Magica, which introduces us to a new character, Iroha Tamaki, who is looking for her lost sister, and the gameplay of the game is based on fights against enemies, where different attributes, such as Light or Darkness, will be vital to achieve victory.
