Makima has been one of the most beloved waifus within the Chainsaw Man franchise, which since her debut in the anime knew how to win the hearts of new fans who eagerly watched the series, while her older fans were amazed by the appearance of this character and looked forward to the progress of this character throughout the series, the anxieties might disappear after a certain future event.
Although Makima has sometimes looked different or even shown a rather questionable personality during the Chainsaw Man anime, this has not been enough for viewers to expect to see different facets of the character, or a different destiny than the one shown in the manga. In these images shared by Twitter user @JuansigmaArt is that we can see Makima leaving aside her formal dress that we saw in Chainsaw Man, to change it for a spectacular wedding dress. In this we can appreciate that both the dress and the ornaments that accompany it, are of a white color, representing the purity of the moment, although for a character like Makima, purity is something that the character lacks.
Leaving aside the background that we were shown in the manga and anime of Chainsaw Man, we see how our reddish-haired waifu has chosen to leave aside the life of demon hunter and has focused on uniting with the person she loves most in the world. Thus achieving a quite different ending, which we can assume was more relaxed and without less difficulties than what we have already observed, although there is also the possibility that the magical moment was only for a few years, just before her past came back to remind her what her job was in that life.
The images shown above were well received and shared by fans in different groups, and even some viewers were eager to see how their different waifus could look like in this kind of situation, because unless it is an anime of the romantic genre, this kind of situations would be very difficult to see animated or shown by the authors of the works or in any official illustration of the animation studio.
