There is no doubt that the last decades of the last century were among the most relevant for the history of Japanese animation. Many of the animations that today are known as “classics”, are a part of the anime industry for various reasons, either for their story, their characters, their opening and/or closing themes, and what to say about the magnificent art and style that characterizes them.
But one of the most important and remarkable aspects of these, are the type of drawing and animation they received due to the type of technology and materials that were used then. Therefore, many will remember some anime as something endearing and even nostalgic, because their style is unmistakable. The range of colors and the drawing style is something unique and valuable.

The beautiful but lethal Makima. The Angel Demon in his Devil Hunter outfit, and finally we have Aki Hayakawa smoking a cigar, with his katana on his back and the Fox Demon behind him.
Each and every one with a particular style of the decade, full of vibrant colors, a simple style, without too many pretensions but incredible. The talent and imagination of the artists goes beyond what we can suppose; and without a doubt they bring us a well-deserved recognition to the aesthetics that marked an entire era and beyond.
