Chainsaw Man is trending again, but in this case not for its anime, but for the manga that is currently in publication, and it seems that the author, Tatsuki Fujimoto, has had a more than obvious mistake in the latest installment of the story. That is why through the social network Twitter/X, a user started a thread which was filled with fans who shared their dissatisfaction with the situation, and also began to criticize the creator of the series for this reason.
Tatsuki Fujimoto, author of Chainsaw Man, criticized for his drawing
In a recent publication of the user “@Chainsawpedia”, he shared this image that began to cause a stir within the Chainsaw Man community. The photo translates as a criticism towards the mangaka, but it is not the first time this has happened, as we have seen how different forums have brought up panels of the Chainsaw Man manga, where it is exclaimed that the author does not know how to draw.
Many of the fans of the series did not hesitate to post their opinion: “I don’t see anything wrong”, “That position you can do it with your arms”, “It’s a bit awkward, but it’s possible”, “I think Fujimoto has problems with his arms, they have brought up many panels of this”. Many are inclined to believe that the pose the character does is entirely possible, although somewhat awkward and tense, others stress that on several occasions the mangaka has demonstrated this type of somewhat inconsistent panels.
We know that many of the artists today and in the history of manga have had their critics. In the new stars of the decade, Fujimoto has been singled out many times in his drawing, praised for his stories, but equally criticized for the way his anatomy is expressed on paper. In a recent post where it was said that Chainsaw Man has declined in terms of drawing quality in relation to its first part, we highlight many of the aspects and detail what you should be in this note from our page.
Below we share some of the most outstanding messages from fans and criticisms made to the creator of Chainsaw Man:
As we have mentioned, you can find different discussion forums where they constantly point out these aspects of the creator of Chainsaw Man, as well as many others, is it right to point out mangakas in this way, following what fans have been commenting, it is not something that should be remarked, not even pointed out, it is just a detail among all the work. If you want to take a look at this thread, you can do so directly from here.
The mangakas are busy people who must be more than 10 hours a day drawing to offer us every few months a volume of the masterpieces we love so much. So these remarks only consider something as crude as a somewhat tense position or a “drop in quality”, which is normal to occur in the workplace, which is also why there are so many indefinite breaks or sick mangakas. We only wish that this kind of elements could be understood by observing the works of these gentlemen as creative as Fujimoto himself.
Chainsaw Man’s work, on the other hand, shows us the adventures of the chainsaw demon, who is our protagonist Denji, who upon being killed by the Yakuza that was collecting his father’s debts, only being saved by the help of his canine friend Pochita, who is the aforementioned demon in which both merge. Now, as part of the extermination association, he will have to fight with different powerful beings to make a living, along the way meeting very interesting people and having tragic moments.
The series is currently being published on a weekly basis, so fans are experiencing a story much more advanced to what was seen in the anime, which culminated with the beginning of one of the most anticipated arcs by fans. The franchise has already confirmed the adaptation of this part, although to the surprise of many, it will take the form of a movie called “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc“, which has not yet confirmed an estimated release date.
