There is no doubt that the anime adaptation of the manga “Mato Seihei no Slave” (Chained Soldier) is one of the most anticipated series of 2024. From the confirmation of its production in November 2021 to its rescheduling to January 2024, fans have been patiently waiting for new updates on the series to be released.
To make up for this long wait for fans, the official media of the anime Chained Soldier has started releasing a promotional video that is centered on the character “Kyouka Uzen“, one of the main protagonists of the series.

It is important to note that the promotional video focused on the character Kyouka Uzen features the narration of voice actress Akari Kitou, who will be the seiyuu in charge of playing the head of the seventh unit of the Anti-Demon Corps. Additionally, the video shows us a preview of what we will be able to see in this anime so awaited by the community.
Originally, the TV anime “Chained Soldier” was scheduled to premiere in Japan later this year. However, due to production problems, it was decided to delay the premiere of the series to January 2024.
The Chained Soldier anime is being produced by Seven Arcs animation studio, and below we will introduce you to the team that will be involved in this exciting series. Junji Nishimura will lead the project as the anime’s chief director, bringing his experience and creative vision, and Goro Kuji will take over the direction of the anime.
Yasuhiro Nakanishi will play a crucial role in charge of the anime’s composition. Hiroyuki Yoshii will take the reins of the anime’s character design. Ryota Kano and Akira Kendaichi will share their creativity as screenwriters of the anime.

“Chained Soldier” puts us in the context of a Japan besieged by the appearance of portals to a parallel dimension known as “Mato”, a mysterious resource called “Peaches” arises, which confers exceptional abilities exclusively to women. However, along with this new source of power, lurk the fearsome monsters known as “Yomotsu Shuuki”, which cause devastating disasters.
To confront this threat, the government establishes the elite “Anti-Demon Corps,” an elite unit made up of women gifted with the gift of Peaches. In this context, Yuuki Wakura, an ordinary high school student, finds himself immersed in this dazzling and dangerous world when he strays into a portal in Mato.
His fate crosses paths with Kyouka Uzen, the leader of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-Demon Corps, who, recognizing the latent potential in Yuuki and the need for his collaboration to enhance the power of the Peaches, makes him a singular proposal: to join the corps as its “slave”. This alliance promises to lead Yuuki down an unexpected path, full of challenges and revelations that may prove more rewarding than he could have ever imagined.
