At the official media for the anime adaptation of Takahiro and Youhei Takemura‘s ecchi manga, “Chained Soldier“(Mato Seihei no Slave), the official cover art for the second Blu-Ray volume of the series has been unveiled to the public. Like the previous volume, the cover illustration of this package will feature one of the anime’s waifus. This time, the chosen one was the attractive Tenka Izumo and the illustration was created by Hiroyuki Yoshii, the person in charge of the character design of the series.

According to the information presented on the official website of the anime “Chained Soldier, the second Blu-Ray volume of the series will be released for sale in different stores in Japan on May 15 of this year. It is worth mentioning that this package will be available at a price of 12,100 yen and will contain episodes 5 – 8 of the anime.
Other benefits that this volume will contain will be a 24-page booklet, an original three-sided Tenka Izumo sleeve, and other content such as the opening and closing theme song of the anime without credits and character commentaries (Episodes 5 – 8) as a benefit. But that’s not all, as it was also specified that this volume will feature a ticket to the daytime session of the “Mato Seihei no Slave: Special Event” event as an additional benefit.
The anime adaptation of the manga “Chained Soldier“(Mato Seihei no Slave) began its broadcast in Japan on January 4 of this year and consisted of a total of 12 episodes. At the end of its broadcast on Japanese television, Chained Soldier ‘s official media announced the production of a second season, however, not much information was released about this new installment of the series.
The Chained Soldier anime features the following production team: Junji Nishimura led the project as the anime’s chief director, contributing his experience and creative vision, and Goro Kuji took over the direction of the anime. Animation studio Seven Arcs handled production of the series.
Yasuhiro Nakanishi played a crucial role as the person responsible for the anime’s composition. Hiroyuki Yoshii took the reins of the anime’s character design. Ryota Kano and Akira Kendaichi shared their creativity as screenwriters of the anime.

“Chained Soldier” is set in a Japan affected by the opening of portals to a parallel dimension known as “Mato”. In this scenario, a mysterious phenomenon called “Peaches” arises, which grants extraordinary abilities exclusively to women. However, along with this new power, the fearsome “Yomotsu Shuuki” appear, beings responsible for unleashing devastating disasters.
Faced with this imminent threat, the government establishes the select “Anti-Demon Corps”, an elite unit composed of women gifted with the gift of “Peaches”. In the midst of this situation, Yuuki Wakura, an ordinary high school student, is drawn into this fascinating and dangerous universe when he gets lost in a Mato portal.
His fate becomes intertwined with that of Kyouka Uzen, the leader of the Seventh Unit of the “Anti-Demon Corps.” Recognizing the latent potential in Yuuki and the need for his collaboration to enhance the power of the “Peaches”, she makes him a singular proposal: join the corps as her “ally”. This alliance promises to lead Yuuki down unexpected paths, full of challenges and revelations that could prove more enriching than he could have ever imagined.
