The Dangers in My Heart (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) was one of the most popular works of recent times, thanks to its cute and entertaining plot it managed to conquer more than one heart. Recently, a news went viral showing how a young Japanese girl had been not only with the protagonist Anna Yamada for her great physical resemblance, but was confused by the mangaka of this work, Norio Sakurai, leading her to end up closing her social networks. But now, to celebrate the 20 years of the creator in the medium, she decided to reappear, not only to congratulate her, but also to dress according to the anime.
The real “Anna Yamada” of Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu celebrates the play’s author
On June 12, 2024, author Norio Sakurai celebrated her anniversary as a magaka. Norio began her career more than 20 years ago, being Kodomo Gakkyū her first work, which was published from 2003 to 2005. Within her career there are also other titles such as Mitsudomoe, Rororro! and the romantic favorite of many Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu, the latter being the one that positioned her as a mangaka in the industry and even led her to win the Next Manga Award Web version in 2020.
To celebrate this event, a young woman, who recently became a trend within the Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu community because of her resemblance to Anna Yamada and because she was mistaken for the same author, made her appearance again. And yomo_ssss had placed in private all her networks, but now they are already available, being that she published a series of images where she “characterized” herself as the characters of the same work, in addition to accompanying the publication with a text that says: “Congratulations to Norio Sakurai for his 20th anniversary. After encountering Norio-sensei’s work, the world I saw expanded and became very colorful. I will continue to support you!!!”
In the young girl’s post, it can be seen how she is a big fan of Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu, so much so that she can be seen at a kind of exhibition themed after this anime. The girl took pictures with each of the decorative illustrations of the characters of this series, both with Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada. Although her face is censored with a heart to avoid controversy, she shows her physical complexion, where it is more than obvious that this girl, like the great Anna Yamada, also has a slender body.
This girl’s outfit mixes factors from the star couple of Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu, as we see her wearing a jacket in somber tones, representing Ichikawa, while her hairstyle is recreating Anna’s style. She even makes mention of this in the text with which she accompanied her post, saying that she “also did her hair long” with which we understand that she let it grow to match Anna Yamada’s length.
Finally, many fans were grateful to the mangaka as was this girl, who, although she has a special history with Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu, is one among the thousands of fans who have celebrated with Norio-Sensei. The fact that fans have dedicated special posts and comments in networks only shows the fruit of the author’s effort, her trajectory as a mangaka has managed to unite users under a new fandom. Although this mangaka has some titles within her works that have not been adapted to anime, we are confident that with the style she manages and the quality of her stories, they will be another resounding success in future years.
