The anime series based on the romantic comedy manga Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Dangers in My Heart) is celebrating a special date with the fans and the official X account of the series has made a special publication to commemorate the birthday of Anna Yamada, the female protagonist of the story.
Since the premiere of the anime series, it is a regular occurrence that every September 10 the respective official media of the Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu anime celebrates Anna Yamada’s birthday and the aforementioned publication comes with screenshots of some scenes of Anna, a “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” wish and a special dedication to the fans who support the franchise.

However, that’s not all, since Norio Sakurai, author of the manga Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu, has also decided to join this special celebration for the birthday of the female protagonist of his work and on his personal X account he shared with the public a dazzling illustration that has reached more than 23 thousand reactions more than 7 hours since its publication.
Additionally, Norio Sakurai also thanked all the people who have remembered Anna Yamada and have dedicated a few words of congratulations on this special day for the franchise.
“Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu”, also known as The Dangers in My Heart in the West, is a romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai. Publication of the manga began in March 2018 on the Manga Cross website owned by Akita Shoten Publishing House.
Currently, Akita Shoten Publishing House has released a total of 10 compilation volumes for sale and a while ago it was reported that it has exceeded 2 million copies in circulation. In addition, in 2020, the manga The Dangers in My Heart won first place in the sixth edition of the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishou (Most Promising Manga) awards in the “Web Manga” category.
The Dangers in My Heart manga was well received by the public and in August 2022 an anime adaptation was announced. The series premiered on Japanese television on April 1, 2023 and consisted of a total of 25 episodes, which were divided into 2 seasons. The animation studio Shin-Ei Animation, known for its work in other anime such as “Teasing Master Takagi-san” and “A Couple of Cuuckos”, was chosen to be in charge of the production of the anime.
