In anticipation of the theatrical release in Japan of the first part of the “Bocchi the Rock!” anime compilation movie, titled “Bocchi the Rock! Re:“, Japanese company SEGA PLAZA has announced a new collaboration with the popular franchise, which will feature Hitori “Bocchi” Gotoh, the main protagonist of the series’ story, as the star of the collaboration.
This impressive collaboration between the SEGA PLAZA company and the TV anime “Bocchi the Rock!” will consist of the production of a charming prize figure, meticulously designed to capture the essence and sweetness of the protagonist “Hitori Gotoh“, affectionately known as Bocchi within the universe of the series.

As you can see, this prize figure of Hitori “Bocchi” Gotoh is presented with the characteristic clothing of the character, while his face wears a noticeable smile that will leave all Bocchi fans delighted with the product presented by the company “SEGA PLAZA“. According to the information presented in the official media of the company “SEGA PLAZA“, this product is scheduled to be exhibited in different arcade centers in Japan on April 25 of this year and will have an approximate size of 5×8 cm.
Recall that the compilation movie of the anime series “Bocchi the Rock!” will consist of 2 parts. The first part, entitled “Bocchi the Rock! Re:” is scheduled to be released in Japan on June 7, while the second part, titled “Bocchi the Rock! Re:Re:” will be released in Japan on August 9 this year. As some of you may know, this film will show different scenes from 12 episodes of the series, plus some additional scenes created for this movie.
The anime adaptation of the manga “Bocchi the Rock!” premiered on television in Japan on October 8, 2022, consisting of a total of 12 episodes. This series was produced by the renowned CloverWorks animation studio and was legally simulcast in America through the Crunchyroll platform.
Bocchi the Rock! introduces us to Hitori “Bocchi” Gotou, a lonely and socially anxious high school student who finds her way to friendship and a passion for music. Despite having some trouble relating to people, Bocchi has an innate talent for playing the guitar, which has led her to be known as “GuitarHero” for her videos she has posted on the internet.
A twist of fate leads her to meet Nijika Ijichi, a charismatic drummer who invites her to join the Kessoku Band. This meeting will mark the beginning of an incredible musical adventure for Bocchi. With the desire to overcome her fears and find her place on stage, Bocchi will embark on a journey full of emotions, challenges and learning.
As Bocchi immerses herself in the world of music, she meets Ryou Yamada, a talented bassist, and together they form a special bond through their shared love of music. Despite the obstacles and difficulties they face, the girls support each other and find the strength to overcome their insecurities as they pursue their dream of playing live.
