Although the response from most people was very good, there were comments from people who were a little worried about the final result of this adaptation. And their concern is not unfounded, since many times live action movies end up being very bad and are not liked by the public. And considering that the anime also did not have the expected reception, it is quite logical that Blue Period fans share this feeling of doubt about whether this film will truly convey the essence of the story created by Tsubasa Yamaguchi.

For his part, Tsubasa Yamaguchi celebrated this event by posting a special illustration on his Twitter/X account where we see Yaguchi with his painting tools along with some cameras and filming equipment of a movie. We also have the release date and the entire image is in the characteristic blue tones that represent Yatora Yaguchi and much of the setting of Blue Period. Hopefully we will have a trailer later that will allow us to see a little more of what we can expect from this film. Are you excited about this news?
