Blue Archive is a very popular gacha video game within the genre, being that like other titles of this style is the large number of characters available in your template which gives it that relevance in the gaming world, and is that the variety led to the players can choose their favorite girl, with one of the most popular being Sunaookami Shiroko, as well as the most loved by the community, but also by the same company that always placed her as the visible face of the game, but that seems to have come to an end, as several users noticed how this was changed, at least in the icon of the game, by Sorasaki Hina.
Blue Archive replaces Shiroko with Hina in the game’s main icon
Several users of social networks, such as Twitter/X, more precisely the players of the free to play gacha style title Blue Archive, began to share different publications related to the game, in this case as it had made a change that for some went unnoticed, but for many others not, and is that the main icon of the game, which showed the face of Sunaookami Shiroko, one of the main protagonists of the game, has been replaced to now show Sorasaki Hina.
Although this could pass as a simple change of image, it was the same Blue Archive players who were most surprised, since by doing this, the developer suggested that Shiroko would no longer be the main character of the game and who would take her place would be none other than Hina, who appears since the last update as the reference, at least in the game icon, and even the theories were not long in coming, with those who comment that this is the first step for the future that the game will have at the story level.

As it usually happens in this type of publications, it was the same users who in various comments showed their thoughts on this situation, from those who took it as something casual that should not be given much more importance than an aesthetic change by the game, while others were a little more attentive, showing how this is a change which must be taken into account, since this type of event is rare in gacha games, giving as an example games like Genshin Impact that three years after its release never changed its icon.
For those who do not know Blue Archive, this is a gacha style videogame that is one of the best within this genre, where the player will become the “Sensei” of a group of girls prepared for combat, which will have the important mission of returning peace to a city as big as Kyvotos, since this territory is in chaos after the President of the General Council of Students disappeared, since he was the real one in charge of controlling the region. Just like other gacha titles, Blue Archive stands out for having a large number of characters in its ranks, mainly very varied “waifus”.
