Blue Archive, a work that, thanks to Nexon Games, we met as a role-playing video game in 2021. Now it surprises this spring season with its anime adaptation, which had its premiere on April 7, 2024, debuting with its first episode, which has already generated debate among fans. This adaptation by the animation studio CANDYBOX has a hard task to accomplish if it wants to position itself among the best anime of the season.
Blue Archive anime’s debut is described as boring
It was in one of the biggest blogs in Japan where fans took on the task of discussing in the comments about what they thought of the premiere of the anime adaptation of this curious video game. As we already mentioned, Blue Archive arrived to inaugurate the anime Sundays of April and the spring 2024 season, however, a single chapter of its adaptation was enough to generate a similar opinion in many fans, who categorized this premiere as boring.

One factor that they criticize quite a bit about Blue Archive is that fans consider how the story is below average, as they comment that “the combat is garbage”, although it features quite a few cute characters. In particular, they highlight that it is the same pattern as FGO (Fate/ Grand Order), a work that, according to fans, they consider was ridiculously slapped down when the anime was released saying that the story was interesting.
Blue Archive has a somewhat challenging task this season. Given that its first episode did not cause the sensation and furor that could have been expected, this will be a season where it will have to win over the audience that initially considered its episodes as “boring” with memorable and quality content in order to change this generalized opinion within the fandom.

In the absence of the president’s leadership, countless problems have begun to arise throughout Kivotos.
In addition, the franchise is known worldwide for the gacha title of the same name, which is one of the most important in the genre. In this game, the player will adopt the role of the “Sensei”, who will have to command a group of students, who are not only pretty faces, but also have a great capacity for combat. Being of gacha style, these “waifus” can be obtained through a system of rolls, which will give us the possibility of acquiring all these girls, this being one of the most classic points that this one has.
