Beastars” is a story that immerses us in a complex and unique society where anthropomorphic animals coexist with palpable tensions between carnivores and herbivores. At Cherryton Academy, these tensions come to a head when a tragic incident of predation results in the death of Tem, an alpaca member of the drama club.

This event triggers a series of events that lead our protagonist, Legoshi, a gray wolf, to confront not only his own inner demons, but also the deep social divisions that exist among the inhabitants of his world. As he tries to deal with his feelings for Haru, a rabbit scorned by his peers, Legoshi is forced to confront his true nature and explore the dark secrets that lurk beneath the surface of his seemingly civilized society.

Set against a backdrop of intrigue, suspense and reflection on themes such as identity, morality and coexistence, “Beastars” offers a captivating narrative that defies convention and delves into the deepest corners of the animal soul.
