Baki characters come to Street Fighter 6 in epic collaboration

On one hand, we have Baki the Grappler, one of the best and most iconic martial arts anime & manga in its industry. On the other side, we have Street Fighter, one of the best and most iconic fighting video games in its industry. Wouldn’t it be epic if these two legendary franchises met? Well, it looks like Weekly Shonen Champion and Capcom had that very idea, as they just announced this amazing collaboration to celebrate Baki’s 30th Anniversary. With these official formulas released by Capcom, players will be able to recreate two characters from the anime in the Street Fighter 6 character creator. Find out how!

Baki Hanma y Kaoru Hanayama arrive to Street Fighter 6

Street Fighter 6 was very well received for a lot of reasons. These include its innovative story mode, called “World Tour,” in which you can create your own character to travel the world and go head-to-head with classic Street Fighter characters, then train with them. World Tour’s custom character creator was praised for its incredible level of depth, and Capcom is now capitalizing on this. Because they didn’t just release a user code for you to recreate Baki the Grappler characters, they released “recipes” with the specific values for each one that you’ll need to make them yourself. So it’s time to get to work!

This time, we can recreate 2 iconic characters from Baki the Grappler. First we have, of course, Baki Hanma himself, the protagonist of the story. Although you will also be able to create Kaoru Hanayama, a powerful Yakuza associated with Hanma, and one of the strongest fighters in the entire series. Both seem to be based on their designs from the second animated series that was released on Netflix in 2018. The fact that both are depicted with Baki The Grappler’s particular art style is impressive, and a perfect example of how detailed the character creation system is in Street Fighter 6.
