In all this time, Nanashi, author of the original manga, has been enjoying his break after finishing his work, which has been the talk of the otaku community for several years.
However, it seems that the author of the manga Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san is ready to return and through a publication made in his personal X account, he has stated his feelings about what may come in 2025.

As mentioned above, the post in question was made on the personal X account of the author of the Ijiranaide manga, Nagatoro-san. In it, he wished all his followers a happy New Year. But that was not all, as he also shared his feelings about this new year that begins, stating that his main goal is to start a new manga.
At the moment, Nanashi has not yet given any hint as to what this new manga might be about, nor has he offered any clue or idea of the concept. Therefore, we will have to wait a considerable time for him to provide new updates on his work.

Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san, also known as Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro in the West, is a Japanese webmanga written and illustrated by Nanashi, also known as 774. This manga began to be published in physical form in the Shonen Magazine Comics of the Kodansha publishing house since November 2017 and reached its end last July 22 this year, counting a total of 154 chapters in total.
The work was collected in 20 volumes in total and Kodansha publisher announced a while back that the manga Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san managed to surpass the incredible figure of 4 million copies in circulation. Thanks to the enormous popularity of the work in Japan, the manga Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san has been adapted into anime.
The anime adaptation of the manga Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san premiered in Japan on April 11, 2021 and the series consisted of a total of 2 seasons (24 episodes in total). The animation studio Telecom Animation Film was in charge of the production of the first season, while OLM was in charge of producing the second season. The anime is available legally on the Crunchyroll platform and has an English dub.
The manga Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san has the following description: High school student Hayase Nagatoro loves to spend her free time doing one thing: annoying her Senpai! When Nagatoro and her friends stumble upon the drawings of aspiring artist, Naoto Hachiouji, they begin to have fun mercilessly teasing the shy Senpai. Nagatoro decides to continue with this game that has caught his attention and visits him daily so that he can force Senpai to do whatever interests him at the time, especially if it ends up making him uncomfortable.
Somewhat captivated, but also somewhat fearful of Nagatoro, Naoto Hachiouji is constantly caught up in her antics as her interests, hobbies, appearance and even personality are used against him while she entertains herself at his expense. As time passes, Senpai realizes that Nagatoro’s presence is not entirely unpleasant despite the awkward moments he spends, and the two develop an uneasy friendship as one patiently endures the other’s antics.
