Just a few months ago, anime fans celebrated one year since the conclusion of the anime adaptation of “Attack on Titan” (Shingeki no Kyojin). During that time, the franchise’s official networks also announced a new compilation movie of the last part of the series entitled “Shingeki no Kyojin Movie: Kanketsu-hen – The Last Attack” to be released this month in Japan.
An announcement that was not without some controversy, but regardless of that, new material was promised for “Attack on Titan” fans in the form of a post-credits scene that would be the reason why they were trying to persuade fans to watch this last arc one more time. This time a small series of images have circulated on networks that let us see what this new scene is all about.
“Attack on Titan” ignites fan hype in these images from the saga’s newly released compilation film
This past November 8, the last compilation movie of the “Attack On Titan” series was released in theaters in Japan, which covers the last chapters of the series that were released approximately 1 year ago. As expected, fans were quite interested in knowing what the post-credits scene that was mentioned so much would be about, as it would depend on it if some of them would come back to see this last part.
Thanks to the social networks, these images have been circulating, giving us a glimpse of what it is about. In them we can see Armin, Eren and Mikasa in a movie theater dressed in casual outfits, while in the second one we see the 3 main characters chatting. This has caused several reactions among fans, the first is that Mikasa’s “gothic” outfit has been very well accepted by “Attack on Titan” fans.
The second thing is that it has been speculated that this image would be a kind of “gag” where, at the end of the movie, the characters are shown giving their opinion on everything they have just seen. This point has been quickly confirmed due to some comparisons circulating both on “X” and Facebook, where they show a comparison between this panel and the images.
Evidently, both negative and positive reactions also abounded among the comments in the different social networks, as several mentioned that they were expecting something “different” to what is being shown. There was also a fan who mentioned his disagreement with the way MAPPA was “squeezing” “Attack On Titan” and that this was not an incentive to return to see these final chapters.
Undoubtedly, a moment that has stolen the attention of Japanese fans who have waited 1 year to see in theaters this epic denouement once again. So we will have to wait for news in our region on whether this compilation movie of “Attack on Titan” (Shingeki no Kyojin) will come to theaters across America.
