Fans of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) in Japan will be able to enjoy the return of this successful franchise worldwide, as the official media of the anime adaptation of the manga by Hajime Isayama have announced the return of the anime in a special format and it was confirmed that next November 8 a film project entitled “Attack on Titan the Movie: THE LAST ATTACK” (Shingeki no Kyojin Movie: Kanketsu-hen – The Last Attack) will be screened in theaters.
Additionally, it should be noted that this special news was accompanied with a teaser video of this new Attack on Titan anime film project, which was shared on the official YouTube channel of ぽにきゃん-Anime PONY CANYON.
Attack on Titan will make a triumphant return in Japanese Cinemas
Another detail to note about the movie “Attack on Titan the Movie: THE LAST ATACK” is that it will have an approximate running time of 145 minutes and will consist of a theatrical edition of the 2 parts of “Attack on Titan: Final Season – The Final Chapters” with some visual tweaks and 5.1 surround sound.
Additionally, to celebrate the upcoming release of “Attack on Titan the Movie: THE LAST ATACK” in theaters in Japan, a teaser image of this new movie in the franchise was shared to the public. Further information will be released in the future.
Shingeki no Kyojin, also known as Attack on Titan in the West, is a manga written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The work began its publication in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine of Kodansha since September 2009 and reached its end on April 9, 2021, with a total of 139 chapters after 12 years of publication. In addition, Kodansha has collected the Attack on Titan manga in 34 volumes.
Thanks to its enormous popularity in Japan, Hajime Isayama’s manga Attack on Titan received its respective anime adaptation, which premiered on April 6, 2013. The anime series was composed of a total of 89 episodes, which were compiled into 4 seasons and some special episodes. The animation studio WIT Studio was in charge of the production of the first 3 seasons, while the last season was produced by the animation studio MAPPA.
The anime is legally available in America on the Crunchyroll platform and has an English dub.
The anime Attack on Titan has the following description: Centuries ago, mankind was slaughtered to near extinction by monstrous humanoid creatures called Titans, forcing humans to hide in fear behind huge concentric walls.
