In recent hours, through a 10-minute video, the director of Gust at Koei Tecmo, Junzo Hozoi, gave many thanks to those fans abroad who are interested in the game, in addition to presenting an extended gameplay, leaving all fans eager to discover more. Among the previews we can understand between the lines that the mother of our cute protagonist, Yumia died, but she was one of the pioneers of alchemy in a world where it is considered a taboo.

Since the Atelier video games began their release almost 28 years ago and with more than 25 deliveries, they had never had a feature as special as the one seen in this game with the presentation trailer: our protagonist Yumia will move through the ruined world on a motorcycle which we can see on a couple of occasions, in one it is almost imperceptible, but on the second occasion putting it in motion. This feature leaves fans of the saga with a concern. Will Yumia be the only one who owns a means of transportation or the rest of the cast will also do it?

For its part, the essence of the game will appeal to the memories of the protagonists in a story of magic, action and adventure where the player will be able to identify with past successes and failures that are the main motivation for successes towards the future. The game system is based on exploration, combat and “Synthesis”, something familiar in the “Atelier” saga, which consists of combining objects obtained to obtain new ones. In this installment, there will be a renewed Synthesis system, called “Simple Synthesis” that will use the mana of the objects.

It was also added a fun system called “building” or “construction” where you can bases or forges in the preferred sites of this open world, the interesting thing about this construction system, is that it will bring together mechanics familiar to those of games like Fortnite, but with much more detail, or also reminiscent of the construction that is used in most of the games of The Sims. They will not be as-is, combat as in other RPGs, but mostly rest, another mammoth feature of the game that continues to attract hundreds of thousands of players

Viktor will be voiced by Makoto Furukawa (Saitama in One Punch Man and Miyuki Shirogane in Love is War), Lenja by Yoshino Aoyama (Hitori “Bochi-Chan” Gotoh in Bochi The Rock! ), Arendt as Jun Fukuyama who plays as, Kraft Lawrence from Spice and Wolf and Koro-Sendei from Asassination Classroom, Kaori Maeda will be Isla who currently plays as Ririsa Amano in 2.5 Dimensional Seduction, responsible for bringing to life Yumia Liessfeldt will be Wakana Kuromichi who played Sarasa Saionji in Liar Liar.

Atelier’s history dates back to 1997 and since then they have released 26 games, “Atelier Yumia The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land” will be the 27th title in the saga, multiplatform, and the first that can be played across any platform, including Xbox (One, X|S Series). The game will be released on March 31, 2025 and further details will be released in the coming months.
