After confirming its premiere date, the anime adaptation of the fantasy adventure light novel, Aru Majo ga Shinu Made, decided to share a promotional video with the public to continue increasing the enthusiasm of fans who are waiting for the series to start airing. The promotional video features a clip of the closing/ending theme song of the anime Aru Majo ga Shinu Made, which will be performed by Aoi Teshima, composed by Yuki Kajiura and will be titled “Hana-saku Michi de”.
Additionally, the official website of the anime Aru Majo ga Shinu Made presented a new visual image. The image features the characters Meg Raspberry, Faust, Inori, Sophie Hayter, Fine Cavendish and Eldora. The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan on April 1 of this year.
The production team of the anime Aru Majo ga Shinu Made is as follows: Atsushi Nigorikawa will be the director of the anime. EMT Squared animation studio is in charge of production. Yuki Shizuku is adapting Chorefuji’s character designs for the animation. Keiichirou Oochi is in charge of supervising the anime’s scripts.

Aru Majo ga Shinu Made is a light fantasy adventure novel that is written by Saka and illustrated by Chorefuji. The work began publication at ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint from December 2021. Currently, Aru Majo ga Shinu Made is still in publication and has 2 volumes, although its third volume will be released for sale in Japan this coming March 17, 2025.
The light novel Aru Majo ga Shinu Made has a manga adaptation, which began its serialization in the web service “Dengeki Comic Regulus” of the publisher ASCII Media Works since March 2023. This version is illustrated by Kenu Amearare. In June 2024, ASCII Media Works announced the production of an anime adaptation for the light novel Aru Majo ga Shinu Made.
The light novel Aru Majo ga Shinu Made has the following description: On her seventeenth birthday, apprentice witch Meg learns that she has only one year left to live. Her teacher, the long-lived witch Faust, explains to her that the only way to undo the curse of death is to collect tears of joy and cultivate the seed of life.
To find them, Meg will have to leave the sheltered life she has always known and enter the world. There will be encounters, misunderstandings, friendships and, of course, many tears. Meg will learn that the most important lessons for a witch are bright, sweet and somewhat heartbreaking.
