The Twitter user @females_db_park shared a post where he informs us about the advertisement made for the H&M brand shown in the pages of Comic LO, apparently this illustration was not well received at all, it rained a lot of criticism for the magazine as well as a wave of violent messages that were present in the internet forums.

The image shows two teenage girls, we could say that they are twins. Both are wearing a uniform, which has a gray robe, which is placed over a white blouse, their white socks and black shoes are like those worn by elementary school girls, this gives a more childish air to the girls, we can see their pink backpacks, which combine with the background. What is interesting here are the expressions on the girls’ faces, they look mischievous and arrogant.

Much of this discontent is due to the fact that the recurring characters in the Comic LO images are quite young. The debate on the networks about the content of Comic LO seems endless, there are many perspectives on this. Some people claim that the whole situation is a very complicated issue, others say that thanks to the “feminists” is that this type of magazines is on the decline and of course there is that part that branded this type of content and the people who consume it, to be repugnant beings.

What we do have clear, is that we must be careful when creating collaborations, in this case the image shown by Comic LO resulted in a great controversy. Since you must take into account the vision of the artists, the brand you work with and the message you are conveying, if any of these things is not taken into account you may fall into a controversy, that the message is misunderstood and therefore affect both you and the brand.

This situation created a lot of confusion, can you imagine seeing your favorite clothing brand collaborate with a magazine whose content is H? This can be a bit weird, and there are also some opinions that express that all this may well be a superficial marketing strategy, since Comic LO is in decline.
