Apex Legends announces that you will be able to transfer your progress between consoles

Since 2019, Apex Legends has become one of the best and most successful games in the Battle Royale genre, with so many daily players that it can give competition to titans like Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone. Developed by Respawn Entertainment and distributed by Electronic Arts, one of the reasons why this game thrived so much is due to the fact that it is available on numerous consoles: PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & X/S Series, Nintendo Switch, PC and even for mobile devices. However, many players were asking that the progress they had saved on one console can be transferred to another. And EA finally heard their prayers with what they just announced.

In this new trailer for its next big update called Apex Legends: Ignition, it was confirmed that cross-console progress will soon be coming to the popular Battle Royale. EA gave more details about it on the game’s official site: “Watch for an in-game message to initiate the migration that will bring your content and progress. Cross-Progression information will be associated with your EA Account. Due to the nature of combining accounts across multiple platforms, various aspects of Apex (Coins, materials, etc) will be impacted differently,” explaining how the cross-platform migration will take place, for those who are interested.

This clarification is vitally important, as there are some cosmetic elements that are exclusive to some platforms (Like Xbox, PlayStation or Switch) that will not be represented on the others. But of course, that is only aesthetic and of minor importance, because having the ability to transfer your data between different consoles is extremely practical for all players. Especially when you consider that Apex Legends is also available for Nintendo Switch and cell phones: You can play on PC or home console, transfer your data to a portable device and continue your progress in the game wherever you want.

But that’s not all, as this trailer also reveals a new legend coming soon to Apex Legends: Ignition: She is Conduit, a shield healer who we can see in action in this exciting gameplay. They will also add a new map called Storm Point, and it was confirmed that a new Battle Pass full of skins, characters and much more, will be included in this new update. Ignition will be released next October 31, and the best part is that you will be able to experience and enjoy all this content on different platforms in complete freedom, thanks to the Cross Progression that will also arrive very soon.
