In the world of Anime, every season with premieres and continuations, some are more popular than others. Being of various genres they show us many stories that somehow manage to catch us and become our favorites, so much so that we want many other anime fans to know. And today we are going to talk about a list of anime that some fans think should be more popular among the community.
Anime that should be better known
In each season there are anime that lead the community’s preference, while others remain in the last places, with a reduced number of fans that follow them or simply go unnoticed. But sometimes we give some anime a chance because the plot sounds good, we like the studio that animates it, the opening or closing themes catch our attention or we want to hear the work of some of the seiyuus involved.
As you may already know, there is also the three chapter rule, if we watch the beginning of an anime and it doesn’t convince us, we can consider to stop watching it and continue with others. This happens both with anime that are very famous and with others of which little is said. Sometimes the less popular anime simply surprise us, as if we found “gold”.
And that’s exactly what some anime fans started to debate about, as user @Ui0518 via Twitter suggested a list of 12 anime that he thinks should be more recognized, among which is Gosick, aired in 2011 and with 24 chapters that follows a plot full of mysteries to be solved with a touch of romance and fiction. 91 Days from 2017 and with 12 chapters, a drama story that follows a revenge between mafia families.
Zetsuen No Tempest from 2012 and 24 chapters that follows the story of two friends who want to discover the reasons for the murder of the sister of one of them without knowing that they could meet the end of the world, in addition, there are references to some works of William Shakespeare, as well as characters. Shigofumi from 2008 and with 12 chapters, a story of fantasy and drama that focuses on a girl who is in charge of delivering letters where the dead write to the living with everything they could not.
Just Because!”, a 2017 12-episode slice of life, which tells the story of a group of high school boys who, with touches of drama and romance, seem to have a change in their lives when they are in their senior year with the arrival of a new classmate. Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo, a 2015 romantic comedy with 12 episodes, revolves around two students, a boy who is considered a failure in school and a girl who is the opposite, one day they swap bodies and try to work it out as they discover more about each other.
Many anime fans supported that Gosick should be better known, while other netizens disagreed with some of the list and others simply mentioned which ones they would add, for example Owari no Seraph, from 2015 and that despite having second season, we are still hoping to see a third one.
