It was also confirmed that the protagonist of this new union will be one of the most beloved girls of the work, Sekine Shiori, who will come to the title, this being the third collaboration between the video game and the anime.

As Otonashi joins the SSS and participates in its activities, he begins to remember fragments of his past life and discovers the true nature of this purgatory and Kanade’s role in it. The series combines elements of action, comedy, drama and music, exploring deep themes such as life, death, redemption and forgiveness. Each character in purgatory has an emotional personal story, and throughout the series, these characters seek to find peace and overcome their regrets, in order to ultimately move forward.
