The manga adaptation of the light novel Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go by Dereru Tonari no Alya-san) has revealed new information about its upcoming compilation volume. The official X/Twitter account of the franchise announced that the compilation volume number 7 of this manga will be released for sale in bookstores and stores in Japan on June 9.
Additionally, the official cover of this seventh volume, which features the character Ayano Kimishima, was presented to the public.

Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go by Dereru Tonari no Alya-san, also known in the West as Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, is a light romantic comedy novel written by Sunsunsun and illustrated by Momoco. This novel began publication at Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint of Kadokawa Publishing House from February 2021. Currently, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian is still in publication. It also has a total of 9 volumes.
The work has been adapted into manga by Tenamachi Saho. The manga has been published in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket service since October 2022. Currently, the literary franchise has more than 5 million copies in circulation.
The light novel Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian has an anime adaptation. It began airing in Japan on July 3, 2024 and consisted of a total of 12 episodes. The series was legally simulcast in the territories North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Middle East and CIS through the Crunchyroll platform and features a English dub.

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian has the following description:
Seirei Academy is a prestigious school attended by the best students in Japan. Alisa Mikhailovna “Alya” Kujou, the half-Russian, half-Japanese treasurer of the student council, is known for her intelligence and stunning good looks. She is also noted for her rigid personality. In contrast to her almost flawless personality, Alya’s unmotivated classmate Masachika Kuze slacks off during classes. He does not seem to show any interest.
Alya, irritated at first, becomes increasingly intrigued by Masachika and begins to express her affection for him in Russian. However, she ignores his secret: she understands the language fluently! Because of a childhood friend who was temporarily in Japan, Masachika has been studying Russian in the hope of meeting her again.
As the two spend more time together, their playful and eccentric relationship quickly deepens. Meanwhile, the two must learn to manage their new and growing feelings for each other.
