In just a few short months, 2024 has proven to be an excellent year for new video game releases, which is especially true for the Japanese market. This will be an exceptional week for the country, as more than 20 titles will be released over the course of the next few days, from new installments of classic franchises to collections that fans have been waiting for years. Gamers in Japan have an interesting week ahead of them, as a good amount of quality video games are coming, all from different franchises and present in different platforms. So here is the complete list, with a brief description of each game and its exact release date:
- South Park: Snow Day: The new multiplayer shooter based on the classic adult animated series is out for PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S Series, Nintendo Switch and PC on March 26.
- Amairo Chocolate: This adorable waifu-filled visual novel comes to Nintendo Switch on March 28.
- PriministAr: Another visual novel with waifus and a gripping romantic story, coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on March 28.

- Palia: The Steam version of this popular free-to-play multiplayer life simulator was released on March 25.
- Ancient Weapon Holly: A roguelike with an intense combat system and anime-inspired art style. Released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 25.
- Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles: A strategy game where you must create powerful fortresses, released on PC on March 26.
- Farming Simulator Kids: An adorable farming simulator for the whole family that comes out on Nintendo Switch on March 26.
- GRANDIA HD Collection: This collection of classic Sega Saturn JRPGs that are beloved in Japan and around the world. They’re finally coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, starting March 26.
- The Last Case of Benedict Fox: An intriguing 2D Metroidvania with roguelike elements coming out on PlayStation 5 this March 26.
- Fortress S: An interesting game that combines the genres of shoot ’em up with strategy. Out on PlayStation 5 on March 28.
