The video game NieR: Automata is one of the best hack and slash that exist, but its popularity lies not only in this, but in the “waifus” that make up the title, as 2B or A2, being that both are very similar, but with subtle changes that make them two very beautiful girls with characteristics that suit the tastes of each fan, and that is why constantly in the networks we see that both are widely used when creating content. As a clear example of this we have the cosplay made by yingyingwwb, which brings us a little closer to A2 to our reality with its beautiful characterization.
A2 gets real in this new cosplay from NieR: Automata
The new work was done by the cosplayer yingyingwwb, who published this image where you can see her characterized as one of the most recognized “waifus” that the video game NieR: Automata has, the beautiful A2, in a work that surprised the fans not only for having the most representative aspects of the character, but it is the same beauty of the cosplayer that helps to bring A2 a little closer to our world.
And those who know the “waifu” of NieR: Automata will recognize that this characterization respects very closely the clothes she wears in the video game, which, although they are few, are composed of a sleeveless shirt with different parts torn by her status of deserter, long gloves that cover her hands and part of the arms, as well as it can also be seen that in the lower part the cosplayer added the small black shorts that A2 uses, even though in the image it is not possible to see the detail.
But what adds much to the work is the care to these details that make the character of NieR: Automata, in aspects that can jump more to the eye, as the simple fact of using a wig that perfectly recreates the long silver hair that the “waifu” has in the game, or also that the cosplayer is posing with a katana very similar to the one known as “Virtuous Contract” in the story of NieR: Automata and that both A2 and 2B wield in the game and is that to all this we must add the beauty of the same author of the work, which contributes much to that the “waifu” is close to our universe.
NieR: Automata is a franchise that has managed to stay on everyone’s lips even when the last title of the saga was released more than 7 years ago, and is that last year 2023 was released its anime adaptation, which not only gave more relevance to the franchise, but made thousands of people outside this universe not only know a story that catches, but also made both 2B, as A2, to be again widely used by the different communities of the internet to create all kinds of content, even the popularity of the anime was such that a second season was announced, but still without a confirmed release date.
Being that the last title was, as we mentioned, NieR: Automata in 2017, this became from the beginning one of the best hack and slash of all time, where not only the unbridled combats are one of its strongest points, but this also knew how to implement many well-written characters, which combined with a story that leads to ask different existential questions made it stand out in the genre. And although no new installments were released, what NieR: Automata did do were different collaborations with other games, where mainly its “waifus” came to the titles, such as in the gacha Nikke or in Battle royale like PUBG.
