After confirming its broadcast for two consecutive seasons, the official media for the anime adaptation of the manga “2.5-jigen no Ririsa” (2.5 Dimensional Seduction) has provided new updates on its long-awaited premiere date, and to the good fortune of fans of this franchise, the day is getting closer and closer.
According to the information presented on the official website of the anime “2.5-jigen no Ririsa“, the series is scheduled to begin broadcasting on television in Japan from July 5 of this year. Along with this announcement, a stunning new visual image for the anime, which will be produced by animation studio J.C. Staff, has also been unveiled.

But that’s not all, as the official media of the anime 2.5-jigen no Ririsa has introduced the performers in charge of the musical themes of the series. The artist Meychan will be in charge of performing the opening theme song of the series and it will be titled “Shutter Chance“, while Ririsa Amano (AV: Kaori Maeda) and Mikari Tachibaba (AV: Akari Kitou) will perform the closing theme song and it will be titled “Watch Me“.
As previously mentioned, the anime adaptation of the manga “2.5-jigen no Ririsa” will be produced by the animation studio J.C. Staff. The appointed director for the project is Hideki Okamoto, a professional with experience in anime such as “High School DxD BorN” and “Kaichou wa Maid-sama!”. The composition of the anime will be in charge of Takao Yoshioka, recognized for his work in series such as “Your Lie in April” and “High School DxD”. As for character design for the anime, the responsibility will fall to Tomoyuki Shitaya, whose previous work includes works such as “Toradora!” and “Kiss x Sis”.

“2.5-Jigen no Ririsa“, also known as “2.5 Dimensional Seduction” in the West, is a manga created by talented author and illustrator Yuu Hashimoto. This captivating manga began its exciting run in the pages of the “Shonen Jump+” service, which is part of the renowned publisher Shueisha, back in June 2019.
Thanks to the good reception of the manga by the public, in December 2022, the publisher Shueisha announced the production of an anime adaptation, which will be broadcast legally through the Anime Onegai platform.
“2.5-Jigen no Ririsa” introduces us to Masamune Okumura, a student who proudly proclaims his disinterest in real girls. As the president of his school’s manga club, Okumura is a passionate otaku, whose heart belongs entirely to a sensual 2D manga waifu known as Lilliel.
But what happens when fate plays an unexpected card? With the start of a new school year, the landscape changes dramatically. Enter Ririsa (also known as Lilysa), a flesh-and-blood girl who lives in the 3D world, and her burning passion is the art of cosplay! Determined and full of enthusiasm, Ririsa has one goal in mind: to recruit Okumura as her personal photographer.
However, this is where the plot thickens and the lines between fantasy and reality begin to blur. Can you imagine who Ririsa’s favorite manga character is? Yes, it’s none other than Lilliel! And that’s not all, Ririsa has an affinity for modeling objects of a fetishistic nature.
